THE OFFSHORE INSTINCT

Created to shake up the status quo, this iconic timepiece with its extreme temperament returns in striking new versions where mechanical power, bold design, and vibrant accents fuse with intensity.

Three decades after its debut, the Royal Oak Offshore continues to assert its power without ever losing its allure. Conceived in 1993 by designer Emmanuel Gueit, this radical interpretation of the legendary Royal Oak shook up the watchmaking world with its massive proportions, uncompromising style, and bold character. Quickly nicknamed “The Beast,” it became one of Audemars Piguet’s iconic models. Today, the collection is expanded with three new Royal Oak Offshore Automatic models featuring decidedly dynamic accents. Available in steel or titanium, their 42mm cases, water-resistant to 100m, combine robustness and versatility, extending even to the interchangeable straps designed to accompany both daily life and summer getaways.

The Royal Oak Offshore’s sporty signature is expressed through touches of neon pink, turquoise accented with electric yellow, or bright orange. These colors highlight the chronograph pushers, enliven the seconds hand, and enliven the black, anthracite, or silver dial, decorated with the famous Mega Tapisserie pattern. The flange, tachymeter scale, and counters are also adorned with these vibrant hues, infusing the entire watch with rhythm and energy. The Caliber 4404, an automatic in-house chronograph movement visible through the sapphire caseback, powers the timekeeping functions. Composed of 433 components and featuring a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, it confirms the ambition of this colorful trio: to combine performance, technical sophistication, and character in a watch that leaves no one indifferent.
