DOUBLE ROLE
This sturdy timepiece, true to the legacy of its elder siblings which forged the reputation of this collection, invites to roam the planet and take on oceans and seas with total peace of mind.

Dive watch or travel watch? Why choose? With its Ocean Star GMT model, Mido actually offers two choices without compromising on any features. Time data is still ever-so quick and easy to read on its black dial whatever the conditions thanks to the Super-LumiNova® coating applied liberally. The second time zone display is shown by an orange hand tipped with a dot dressed in the same luminescent material. Local time, minutes, and seconds can be scanned at a glance. A date at 3 o’clock and a 24-hour day/night scale running round the flange help wearers keep track of time when traveling long distances. What’s more, the screw-down back is adorned with a practical engraving depicting the 24 time zones and corresponding capital cities.
Everything reigns in a large 44 mm-diameter, 13.4 mm-thick steel case, set off with satin-brushed and polished finishes, waterproof to depths of 200 meters. To ensure all underwater excursions are safe, the unidirectional rotating bezel equipped with a black ceramic insert is optimally user-friendly with its easy-to-grasp fluting. All the information is driven by Caliber 80, set to three different positions. This highly-efficient and accurate selfwinding movement delivers more than three days’ autonomy to the Ocean Star GMT. Its black textile strap, which can be changed without any tools, is incredibly comfortable over this entire period.
