The Bvlgari Aluminium collection expands with two new summer editions, reaffirming the bold design language first introduced in 1998.

By pairing aluminium and rubber when traditional metals dominated luxury sports watches, Bulgari created a distinctive, iconic aesthetic that remains immediately recognizable over two decades later.

The collection traces its origins to the broader Bvlgari Bvlgari line, launched in the 1970s and distinguished by the double logo engraved around the bezel.

Inspired by inscriptions found on ancient Roman coins and monuments, this signature detail has become one of the Maison’s most enduring design elements, reflecting its dual identity as a Roman jeweller and Swiss watchmaker. You can explore this heritage further in our feature article, “The history of Bulgari watches“.

Presented in a 40 mm sandblasted aluminium case with a white rubber bezel, both new models retain the characteristic aesthetic of the Aluminium collection while introducing a brighter seasonal palette.

Measuring 9.4 mm in thickness and water-resistant to 100 metres, the case is complemented by a sandblasted titanium crown and a matching titanium caseback.

Reference 104335 adopts a monochromatic approach, pairing the white rubber bracelet and aluminium links with an opaline white lacquered dial.

Rhodium-plated hour markers and hands provide contrast while maintaining the watch’s clean, understated appearance. The central seconds hand features a white lacquered tip, while a date window is positioned at 3 o’clock.

Alongside it, reference 104309 introduces a more vibrant interpretation limited to 500 pieces. Its blue sunray-brushed dial creates a striking contrast with the white bezel and strap, while blue lacquered hour markers and hands filled with Super-LumiNova enhance the colour scheme.

A red-tipped central seconds hand adds a discreet accent, reinforcing the model’s sportier character.

Both versions are powered by the automatic B77 calibre, which displays the hours, minutes, central seconds and date. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the movement offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
