Tudor has released a new watch on the heels on Watches & Wonders, but this one is a return to focus on its F1 racing ties, as well as an update on a familiar carbon format. Touted as the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26, this watch represents Tudor aligning with team livery to create a watch that we have seen before, but in a new color format for the 2026 season.

The main shift on this variation of the Black Bay Chrono Carbon is the use of yellow on the dial periphery. This has a direct connection to the 2026 Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One car, VCARB 03. The yellow continues in contrast on the subdials, as well as in the date window.

As usual this is a full carbon case, at 42mm in diameter, with the traditional Black Bay Chrono fixed-bezel tachymeter layout. The caseback is titanium, with a PVD finish and a unique engraving that specifically calls the watch out as a Carbon 26 edition, with a checkered-flag motif, to boot.

The watch comes affixed to a hybrid strap that meets the case via carbon fiber end-links. While known to us to some degree, this timepiece still somehow feels quite fresh in this new color format and solidifies Tudor stronghold on the modern tool-watch market. Carbon fiber is such a modern material in watches that it simply fits the F1 sport like a glove, and feels like the perfect 21st-Century watch for the track.
