The ISO 6425 standard isn’t just a series of technical criteria. It fashions the contours of the perfect dive watch. Tissot illustrates this magnificently through the upgrade of its certified Seastar 2000 Professional launched back in 2021. The watch’s personality brings sturdiness, performance, and optimal data reading to the fore. In short, the large hands, along with the indexes making up the hour chapter, are lavishly covered with Super-LumiNova® that offers an amazing contrast with the various shades of dial available: bright orange, as well as gradient-hued blue and black. The can’t-do-without unidirectional rotating bezel, in steel this time round with a virtually-scratchproof ceramic insert, features a 60-minute scale with a graduated 20-minute one to ensure all underwater excursions are totally safe.
