Le Mans, May 18th, The French professional driver Paul-Loup Chatin, Genesis Magma Racing GMR-001 #19 becomes a Lorige ambassador and joins the team to represent the brand across the world’s most famous racetracks.

The whole team is glad to welcome a new professional talent to its ranks. Part of the victorious team at the 2025 6 Hours of Fuji and two-time European Le Mans Series champion, Paul-Loup stands out by his eagerness to win, his focus on excellence and his mindset.
Proud of the French “Genesis” of its concept, Lorige was determined to include among its ambassadors a French driver and Paul-Loup will be one of the brand’s new figureheads.
AN ASSET FOR ONE OF THE MOST PROMISING HYPERCAR PROGRAM
Announced at the end of 2025, Paul-Loup is part of the Genesis Magma Racing team, Hyundai’s motorsport program. At the wheel of his GMR-001 #19, the pilot is ready to take on a challenge: indeed, this year’s race represents Hyundai’s first participation to the biggest French endurance race and, additionally, in the Hypercar category.
After two seasons as part of the Alpine Endurance Team, Paul-Loup will be a significant asset to the project. His experience and his 11 participations in this race will help the team optimize the efficiency and the performance of the car.
PIPO DERANI’S TEAMMATE
For this season, Paul-Loup will team up with another Lorige ambassador: Pipo Derani, driver of the No. 17 GMR-001. As teammates on the South Korean team and both brand ambassadors, they will share their experiences and strive to get the most out of this powerful hypercar, whose full potential has yet to be revealed as it is only in its third race.
Constantly striving to push beyond his limits, Paul-Loup will give his best during this challenging new season and Lorige will support him on this journey.
