Since its launch in 2021, the Tonda PF by Parmigiani Fleurier has been praised for its refined elegance and sense of understatement, defined by balanced volumes, controlled proportions and a deliberate reduction to the essential.
In 2024, the purity of its dial design was further reinforced with the removal of the date aperture in the no-date version.
The latest addition to the collection is now the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date Agave Blue, available in two versions: one in stainless steel and the other in rose gold.
Framed by the finely knurled bezel characteristic of the collection, the dial is finished in Agave Blue, a nuanced tone positioned between blue, green and grey, designed to display subtle variations depending on the light.
The Grain d’Orge hand-guilloché motif is paired with rhodium-plated or 18-carat rose gold skeletonised delta-shaped hands, along with hand-applied indices matched to the case material.
Both versions feature a 40 mm case with a slim thickness of just 7.8 mm, alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces.
The integrated bracelets follow the same finishing logic and are secured by a folding clasp. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres (330 feet), ensured by a screw-down crown.
Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the PF703 calibre measures just 3.07 mm in thickness.
The automatic movement is equipped with a platinum micro-rotor, chosen for its high density, which contributes both to efficient winding and to maintaining the watch’s slim profile.
Operating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), the movement delivers a power reserve of 48 hours.
The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date Agave Blue is priced at CHF 23,700 in stainless steel (ref. PFC914-1020023-100182) and CHF 58,000 in rose gold (ref. PFC914-2020023-200182). parmigiani.com
