WELCOME TO THE CLUB
What this eye-catching duo has in common is a source of inspiration that’s dear to their designer, Eric Giroud: 90s nightclubs, DJs, vinyl records and turntables.

In 2021, the first MA.D.Editions-stamped watch threw wide open MB&F‘s creative doors yet without ever flaunting its name. The aim? To offer access to the Geneva-based brand at a reasonably cool price. This goal was reached with disruptive design that definitely conjured up that of Horological Machines. What’s more, its distribution was also novel. Only those who’d entered a lucky draw would have the chance of getting their hands on one. The recipe was a great success. The upgrades, as well as the second opus launched in 2025 met with the same enthusiasm. So, after the M.A.D.2 Green and M.A.D.2 Orange, the latter’s back with two eye-catching looks. The M.A.D.2 R&B and M.A.D.2 REDemption flaunt a two-tone scenography inside their 42 mm-diameter steel case. The first marries a black dial disc with red hour and minute ones. The second boasts this same combination but reversed.
Both are still energized by the selfwinding La Joux-Perret G101 caliber (64-hour power reserve), which drives the jumping hour and dragging minutes displays perfectly. Around the edge, the rotations of the original oscillating weight adorned with dots of Super-LumiNova® evoke the ones running round the well-known Technics SL-1200 turntable. Like with previous editions, the M.A.D.2 R&B is for grabs via a lucky draw. The M.A.D.2 REDemption, on the other hand, is set aside for those who’ve already entered at least four previous draws but weren’t lucky enough to win.
