MeisterSinger expands its long-running City Edition concept with a new series based on the Pangaea model, combining its distinctive single-hand display with location-specific engravings and limited production runs.

Since its founding, MeisterSinger has focused on a simplified approach to timekeeping, displaying the hours with a single hand that completes one rotation every 12 hours.

This concept remains central to the City Edition, which builds on the idea of a more measured perception of time while introducing a personal connection to specific places.

The new series is housed in a 40 mm x 10.85 mm case, marking a shift from the previous 43 mm format used for earlier City Editions.

The watch features a light-blue sunburst dial, with dark-blue applied numerals and hour markers adding contrast and depth.

The single white hand maintains the brand’s characteristic layout, offering a clear yet less granular reading of time.

A subtle detail on the dial introduces the city-specific element: a small dark-blue oval plaque positioned above the 6 o’clock marker, bearing a fine engraving that reflects the chosen location.

This motif is echoed more prominently on the closed caseback, where a larger engraving depicts architectural landmarks or skyline elements associated with the city, accompanied by its name and the individual edition number.

Powering the watch is the automatic Sellita SW200 calibre, adapted for MeisterSinger’s single-hand display.

Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it provides a power reserve of approximately 38 hours and is wound via a central rotor.

Produced in strictly limited quantities ranging from 5 to 15 pieces per variant, the City Edition 2026 appears in 47 versions dedicated to the following cities and regions:

Aachen (10), Athens (10), Achterhoek Region (10), Ahaus (10), Alkmaar (Cornelis Drebbel) (10), Amsterdam (10), Arnhem (10), Barcelona (5), Berlin (10), Brussels (10), Dresden (10), Florence (10), Frankfurt (5), Friedberg (10), Geneva (10), Groningen (10), Hamburg (5), Istanbul (10), Japan (10), London (10), Los Angeles (10), Lucerne (5), Luxembourg (10), Milan (10), Münster (6), Munich (5), Mykonos (10), New York (10), Nuremberg (5), Nijmegen (10), Paris (15), Regensburg (5), Rome (10), Rotterdam (10), San Francisco (10), Singapore (10), ’s-Hertogenbosch (11), Sydney (10), Twente Region (15), Utrecht (10), Vienna (10), Weimar (10), Zurich (5), Zwolle (10)
