The Grönefeld brothers introduce a new design chapter with the Moment Meter, a manual-winding chronograph created for their Grøne line, started last year with the introduction of the Manueel One.

The new model stands out for its salmon-coloured dial built on multiple layers.
It combines a sunburst pattern with a subtle circular grain, while the polished steel indices, cut with diamond tools, reinterpret those used on the atelier’s classical pieces.

The left and right sub-dials sit on raised concave and convex structures that introduce depth and visual balance.
Their rhodium-plated surfaces are finished with fine radial graining, and the interplay of polished and bevelled edges further enhances definition.

Blued hands indicate the time, while the chronograph readings are distinguished by bright orange hands that lend the watch its most expressive touch.

A baby-blue pulsometer runs around the periphery of the dial and is calibrated to fifteen beats, enabling the wearer to measure heart rate directly from the wrist. Beneath it lies a standard fifth-of-a-second scale for regular chronograph timing.
The central chronograph hand appears in vivid orange, matching the specially produced orange gasket that frames the sapphire caseback and subtly evokes the brothers’ Dutch roots.

Firmly rooted in the brothers’ established aesthetic language, the Moment Meter comes in a 39 mm stainless-steel case alternating polished and brushed surfaces and is powered by a manual-winding column-wheel chronograph movement produced in collaboration with Manufacture La Joux-Perret.

Built on the familiar architecture of the 1941 model, the case has been adapted to suit the proportions and functional requirements of a chronograph while achieving one of the thinnest possible profiles for this type of movement, resulting in a height of 12 mm excluding the crystal.

Visible through a transparent sapphire caseback, the movement is finished in a deep anthracite tone thanks to its ruthenium coating, which contrasts with gold engravings and clearly visible hand-finished details.
A power reserve of 60 hours ensures practical day-to-day usability.

The inscription “Home sweet home” pays tribute to Oldenzaal, the town that has shaped three generations of Grönefeld watchmaking and continues to anchor the brothers’ sense of heritage. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM (50 metres / 165 feet).
The watch is paired with a blue nylon sailcloth strap secured by an 18 mm buckle. The lug width is 20 mm.
