Citizen has expanded its popular Tsuyosa collection with the new Tsuyosa Shore “Time Slip”, a limited-edition model that offers a more nautical interpretation of the integrated-bracelet sports watch while incorporating vintage-inspired details.
While preserving the clean lines and integrated bracelet that have contributed to the collection’s success, the Tsuyosa Shore adopts a more robust character.
Its 40 mm x 12.5 mm stainless steel case is paired with a 120-click unidirectional rotating bezel, giving the watch a distinctly sportier appearance while maintaining balanced proportions suitable for everyday wear. The crown is positioned at 4 o’clock for improved ergonomics.
The dial features a black gradient finish framed by the matching bezel, with rose gold-tone gilt details adding warmth and contrast.
Wide hands and applied hour markers are filled with luminous material to enhance legibility in low-light conditions, while the date display at 3 o’clock is magnified by a cyclops lens integrated into the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Powering the watch is Citizen’s Calibre 8210, an automatic mechanical movement equipped with a hacking seconds function that stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out, allowing for more precise time-setting.
Operating at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), it offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
Designed for everyday versatility, the Tsuyosa Shore offers water resistance to 100 metres (10 bar / 333 feet), making it suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
The stainless steel bracelet integrates seamlessly into the case and is secured by a fold-over clasp with hidden push-buttons, reinforcing its versatile character.
Produced in a limited edition of 12,000 pieces, the Citizen Tsuyosa Shore “Time Slip” (Ref. NJ0238-57E) is priced at €359 in Europe and US$525 in the United States. citizenwatch-global.com
