Mido introduces the Multifort 8 One Crown

Mido has introduced the Multifort 8 One Crown, a new addition to the collection that follows the Multifort 8 Two Crowns launched in 2025.

Retaining the same distinctive octagonal bezel, this new model simplifies the concept by removing the second crown, as it does not feature an internal rotating bezel.

The Multifort 8 One Crown is housed in a 40 mm stainless-steel case with a thickness of 9.9 mm.

Crafted from 316L steel, the case alternates satin-finished and polished surfaces, reinforcing the watch’s angular character.

The bezel, crown and screw-down case back all feature eight facets, echoing the collection’s geometric theme. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar (100 metres / 330 feet).

Protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, the bright blue dial is distinguished by a horizontal relief pattern.

Satin-finished and polished applied indices, along with tri-faceted hour and minute hands, are filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring clear legibility in all lighting conditions.

A discreet date window with black numerals on a white background is positioned at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the self-winding Calibre 80 (based on the ETA C07.611), operating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and offering a power reserve of up to 80 hours.

The movement incorporates a Nivachron balance spring made from a titanium-based alloy, enhancing resistance to magnetic fields, shocks and long-term wear.

Visible through the transparent case back, the calibre features an oscillating weight decorated with Côtes de Genève and engraved with the Mido logo.

The watch is fitted with a satin-finished stainless-steel bracelet secured by a folding clasp and equipped with Mido’s quick-change system.

In addition to the blue-dial version, Mido offers two variants with black dials: one paired with a stainless-steel bracelet and another fitted with a black rubber strap for a sportier appearance.
