To mark the expansion of its global network of dedicated boutiques, Hamilton introduced four exclusive versions of the Khaki Field Mechanical 38 mm, each inspired by the character of a specific city.
Available exclusively at the Hamilton boutiques in Zermatt, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Lancaster, these special editions of the popular model (read more about it here) interpret the identity of each location through subtle design elements, offering collectors a direct and tangible connection to these destinations.
The Zermatt Exclusive Edition draws inspiration from the rugged alpine landscape surrounding the Swiss resort town, with particular reference to the near-symmetrical profile of the Matterhorn.
Its frost-effect dial evokes icy, glaciated terrain, while a blue-and-white striped NATO strap recalls the shifting tones of snow in sunlight and shadow.
The caseback is engraved with a finely detailed silhouette of the Matterhorn.
The Tokyo Exclusive Edition takes its cue from Cat Street, one of the city’s most recognisable shopping areas and home to Hamilton’s Japanese flagship boutique.
A concrete-like textured grey dial is accented with subtle paw-print motifs referencing the street’s name, while the caseback features an engraved “Hipster Cat” illustration.
The watch is supplied on a black and dark grey striped NATO strap, with an additional plain black NATO strap included.
The Hong Kong Exclusive Edition reflects the city’s distinctive balance between dense urban life and dramatic natural scenery.
The dial incorporates the outline of Lion Rock, the emblematic mountain overlooking the city, and is paired with a green and beige NATO-style fabric strap.
On the caseback, an engraved map of Victoria Harbour reinforces the model’s strong local identity.
The Lancaster Store Exclusive pays tribute to Hamilton’s birthplace and the architectural heritage of the Pennsylvania city.
Its brick-patterned dial echoes the historic brick buildings and walkways that characterise Lancaster’s urban landscape.
The city’s boutique, located in the historic Steinman Hardware Building on Queen Street, opened in 2024 as Hamilton’s first exclusive retail space in the United States.
As with the other editions, the watch is fitted with a NATO-style strap.
All four models are housed in a 38 mm stainless steel case measuring 9.5 mm in thickness and water-resistant to 5 bar (50 metres / 165 feet).
They are powered by the H-50 hand-wound movement (based on ETA 2801), operating at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and offering an 80-hour power reserve. Functions are limited to hours, minutes and hacking central seconds.
The indicative retail price of the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical Special Editions is CHF 595. hamiltonwatch.com
