Frederique Constant has released three new variations of its Perpetual Calendar Manufacture model, two in stainless steel and one in 18-carat yellow gold.
These new interpretations follow the reference FC-776SAL3H6 with a salmon dial introduced at Watches and Wonders Genève 2025. We published a complete review of that model here.
The two stainless steel versions are offered with silver (ref. FC-776S3H6) or navy blue (ref. FC-776N3H6) dials, enhanced by sunray finishing and complemented by silver-coloured diamond-cut indexes and hand-polished hands.
The third version (ref. FC-776ONB3H7) pairs the 18-carat yellow gold case with a black onyx dial with yellow gold-coloured diamond-cut indexes and hand-polished hands.
All share the same 40 mm case diameter with a polished finish that emphasises elegance and tapered lugs. Thickness is 12.10 mm for the steel versions and 12.25 mm for the gold one.
With water resistance rated at 5 ATM (50 metres / 165 feet), the watch is suitable for everyday wear.
Protected by a convex sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating, the dial of the Perpetual Calendar Manufacture offers excellent legibility.
The perpetual calendar indications are laid out across three integrated subdials: day of the week at 9 o’clock, month and leap year cycle at 12 o’clock, and date at 3 o’clock.
At 6 o’clock, the moon-phase display completes the ensemble, adding a poetic touch with the moon standing out against a starred sky.
The lack of a seconds hand gives the dial a calm, refined look, directing attention to the calendar displays. It also reflects the complication’s purpose while mechanically helping to conserve energy for continuous operation.
All models are powered by the Manufacture FC-776 calibre, the 34th movement developed entirely in-house by the Geneva-based watchmaker.
Offering a 72-hour power reserve, particularly beneficial in a perpetual calendar, this self-winding movement operates at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and can be admired through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback.
Finishing includes perlage, circular Côtes de Genève, and blued screws.
The watches are paired with alligator leather straps featuring tone-on-tone stitching and folding buckles matching the case material. The lug width is 20 mm.
One of the most affordable perpetual calendar wristwatch on the market, in keeping with the brand’s “affordable luxury” philosophy, the Frederique Constant Perpetual Calendar Manufacture is priced at €9,995 in stainless steel and €29,995 in 18-carat yellow gold. frederiqueconstant.com
