MeisterSinger is enriching its Kaenos line with two new interpretations that stand out for their striking yellow dials, black DLC cases, and integrated leather straps.

Presented earlier this year, the Kaenos generated considerable attention for its distinctive design, emphasised by an integrated stainless steel bracelet.
Both limited to 50 pieces, the new Kaenos and Kaenos Open Date editions are housed in 40 mm stainless steel cases with a black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating.

This high-tech surface is not only scratch-resistant and extremely robust but also enhances the Kaenos’ sporty yet elegant character.
Combined with the sunburst golden-yellow dial, it creates a striking contrast that gives the Kaenos a completely new presence.

The dial is composed of two superimposed layers: the upper golden-yellow layer features precisely cut numerals and hour markers, revealing a second layer beneath.
This lower layer is white around the hour markers and black behind the numerals, creating a three-dimensional effect, enhancing contrast, and ensuring excellent legibility both day and night thanks to luminous accents.

The bold, instrument-inspired hour hand retains its characteristic shape and is also filled with luminous material.
While the Kaenos features a date aperture at 6 o’clock, the Kaenos Open Date displays the date via a recessed concentric ring that rotates openly in the centre of the dial.
Each day at midnight, it advances by one step, showing the current date just below 12 o’clock, indicated by a small arrow positioned above the MeisterSinger logo.

For the first time in the Kaenos line, these DLC editions come on a strap, a slightly padded, finely grained calf leather strap that integrates seamlessly with the case.
The watches are delivered with a yellow leather strap as standard, with an optional black strap available. Matching the case, the buckle is also DLC-coated.
Both watches are powered by modified automatic movements from Swiss manufacturer Sellita.
The Kaenos Open Date uses the SW200, while the Kaenos features the slightly larger SW400 calibre.
Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offering a 38-hour power reserve, these reliable movements — along with their custom black-and-gold rotors — are visible through the exhibition caseback, engraved with the individual numbering of each piece.
