The Tradition collection by Breguet has been a cornerstone of the Manufacture’s production since its introduction in 2005, conceived to display the movement’s architecture on the dial side.

By inverting the calibre, elements typically hidden beneath the dial are brought to the forefront, creating a distinctive aesthetic that combines technical clarity with visual balance, in line with the principles established by Abraham-Louis Breguet more than two centuries ago.

For 2026, the collection evolves with several new references that refine this concept while introducing a more contemporary feel. Among them are the Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7037, 7097 and 7038, all featuring a retrograde seconds display, alongside the Tradition GMT 7067 with dual-time functionality.

Across the range, the introduction of Grand Feu enamel dials, the return to Arabic numerals on certain models, updated movement finishes, and new strap options contribute to a more contemporary interpretation while preserving the collection’s identity.

The Tradition 7037 expresses a deliberately restrained approach, with hours and minutes complemented by a retrograde seconds indication at 10 o’clock.

It is presented in two variations, both housed in a 38 mm case with a thickness of 12.7 mm. The first, crafted from platinum, features a monochromatic black execution, with both the movement and Grand Feu enamel dial rendered in black (ref. 7037PT/N9/5V6).

Price: € 59,100 / US$65,700.

The second, in white gold, stands out for its entirely blue movement paired with a white Grand Feu enamel off-centred hour and minute dial (ref. 7037BB/YB/5V6).

Price: € 53,800 / US$59,700.

For both versions, finishes include a finely shot-blasted mainplate, satin-brushed bridges, and a hand-guilloché barrel cover.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the self-winding calibre 505 SR operates at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and delivers a 50-hour power reserve, with a platinum oscillating weight inspired by early “perpétuelle” systems developed by the founder.

The Tradition GMT 7067 (ref. 7067PT/NM/5W6) introduces a dual-time display within a 40 mm platinum case measuring 12.1 mm in thickness.

Local time is indicated on the main dial, while home time appears on a subdial at 8 o’clock, complemented by a day/night indicator at 10 o’clock and adjusted via the crown in one-hour increments.

Its most distinctive element is the green-gradient Grand Feu enamel dial, transitioning from deep green at the centre to black at the periphery.

In a nod to historical commissions made by Breguet for clients in the Ottoman Empire, the home time display is offered with either Arabic or Oriental numerals.

The manually wound calibre 507 DRF beats at 3 Hz and provides a 50-hour power reserve.

Price: €74,700 / US$82,900.

With the Tradition 7038 (ref. 7038BB/N9/7V6 D0), the Manufacture combines horological and decorative elements. The watch is presented in a 37 mm 18K white gold case, 11.6 mm thick, with a bezel set with 58 brilliant-cut diamonds and a crown set with a gemstone.

For the first time in the collection, the dial is made of black aventurine glass, creating a subtle depth effect against the dark-treated movement visible on the dial side.

The automatic calibre 505 SR operates at 3 Hz and offers a 50-hour power reserve.

Finishing extends to the caseback, where the gold oscillating weight, shaped as a half-moon, features a sunburst guilloché decoration echoing the barrel cover.

Price: €60,200 / US$66,800.

The Tradition 7097 (ref. 7097BR/GB/3WU) continues this evolution with a white Grand Feu enamel dial contrasted by a darker-toned movement architecture.

Housed in a 40 mm 18K rose gold case with a thickness of 11.8 mm, it retains the retrograde seconds display at 10 o’clock, integrated within a semi-circular sector to enhance legibility.

The calibre 505 SR1, visible from both sides, beats at 3 Hz and provides a 50-hour power reserve.

The movement distinguishes its components through varied finishes, including a charcoal-toned barrel cover set against the bright enamel dial, reinforcing the visual hierarchy of the construction.

Price: €51,400 / US$57,100.

Across these new models, Breguet maintains the defining characteristics of the Tradition line, including the symmetrical layout of the movement, the off-centred hours display inspired by historical “Tact” watches, and the use of a half-moon oscillating weight.

At the same time, the introduction of enamel work, nuanced colour treatments, and updated finishes reflects a controlled evolution, ensuring the collection remains aligned with contemporary expectations while staying rooted in its historical foundations. breguet.com
