Bell & Ross has created several diver’s watches in bronze, a material long rooted in the nautical world, evocative of classic maritime fittings, and prized for developing a unique patina over time that gives each watch its own character.
With the latest BR-03 Diver Black Bronze, the brand returns to the fundamentals of professional dive watches.
This new edition celebrates the timeless appeal of a sleek, highly legible design, blending the understated elegance of black with the warm glow of bronze and the precision of a true technical instrument.
It follows a series of colorful variations that have shaped the Diver collection, including the 2024 BR 03-92 Diver Black & Green Bronze, the 2022 BR 03-92 Diver Brown Bronze, and the 2021 BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze.
The BR-03 Diver Black Bronze features the distinctive 42 x 42 mm “circle within a square” case immediately associated with the brand. The screw-down crown is protected by a guard that enhances robustness.
Water-resistant to 300 meters / 1,000 feet, the case is fitted with a 60-minute graduated unidirectional rotating bezel crafted from solid bronze and equipped with a black polished ceramic insert.
White X1 Super-LumiNova markings ensure optimal legibility for precise dive-time measurement.
Protected by an extra-thick flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the glossy black lacquered dial creates a striking contrast with the golden tone of the bronze case.
The “bathtub-style” indices and skeletonized hour and minute hands are also filled with white X1 Super-LumiNova, emitting a green glow in low light conditions.
Behind a stainless steel caseback engraved with a diver motif, the automatic mechanical BR-CAL.302-1 caliber beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of approximately 54 hours.
Paired with a black rubber strap and delivered with an additional black synthetic canvas strap secured by a Velcro closure, the watch is presented in a rugged, water-resistant black case inspired by professional equipment containers.
