What We Know
H. Moser & Cie. introduced its first flyback chronograph in 2020 with the Streamliner, a cushion-cased sports watch powered by the HMC 902—an automatic movement with central elapsed-seconds and elapsed-minutes hands and no sub-dials. That watch won the Chronograph Watch Prize at the GPHG and gave rise to a full collection. The next step was always the Endeavour case, and today it’s here. The Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date takes the core architecture of the HMC 902, removes the automatic winding system, and uses the freed space to add a second time zone and date—all without any subdials

The Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date comes in a 42mm stainless steel case with chronograph pushers at 10 and 2 o’clock and a screw-down crown at 4 o’clock. The dial is a turquoise fumé with a sunburst pattern. The central disc—which carries the second time zone—is in Blackor fumé, also with a sunburst pattern. Around the perimeter, a tachymeter sits on the flange alongside a white minute track that handles both elapsed seconds and minutes for the chronograph. Hands are leaf-shaped and filled with Super-LumiNova, as is the tip of the dual-time arrow.

Uniting three complications—a flyback chronograph, a second time zone, and a date display—the watch does away with traditional subdials entirely. Instead, all indications are centralized: a red hand tracks chronograph seconds, a rhodium-plated hand shows elapsed minutes, and the second time zone appears on a fumé disc at the center of the dial, marked by a white arrow. The date is displayed via an aperture at 6 o’clock.
Diving into more specifics on the trio of complications, the flyback function operates on both the minutes and seconds hands simultaneously. The elapsed-minute hand uses a retrograde mechanism—jumping instantly via energy stored and released by a snail cam, which improves reading accuracy. The date can be adjusted both forward and backward without risk to the movement, which is a practical feature that’s genuinely uncommon at this level of complexity.

Inside is the HMC 730 calibre, developed with movement maker AGENHOR. It takes the architecture of the existing HMC 902—including the column wheel and AGENHOR’s micro-tooth system, which improves efficiency when starting the chronograph—and converts it to hand-wound by removing the automatic winding system and rotor entirely. That freed up space to accommodate the dual time and date displays.
The movement runs at 21,600 vph, contains 383 components and 49 jewels, and offers a 72-hour power reserve via a double barrel. Finishing is anthracite with Moser double stripes and partially skeletonized bridges, visible through the see-through caseback.

The H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date comes on a grey alligator strap with a nubuck finish. retails for $74,400 and is available now.
What We Think
This watch photographs beautifully, and it wears even better on the wrist. I had the chance to try it on at a recent Moser event, and I was very impressed. Upon closer inspection of the case, it showed a very slightly curved caseback, and it’s a scenario where a little goes a long way, because the contour helps make what would normally be a large 42mm case feel right at home. For those who find the Streamliner too sporty, this makes a compelling case for the other side of the Moser lineup.
