H. Moser & Cie. has unveiled the Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic, the first creation from the Schaffhausen-based brand crafted in high-tech ceramic.
Its cushion-shaped case and integrated bracelet are executed in anthracite grey ceramic, featuring alternating polished and satin finishes: vertical satin brushing on the bracelet, circular satin finishing on the case, and subtly polished edges.
Measuring 40 mm in diameter and 12.8 mm thick (including the sapphire crystal), the case is fitted with a screw-in crown engraved with an “M,” ensuring water resistance to 12 ATM (120 metres / 400 feet).
The red fumé Grand Feu enamel dial creates a striking contrast.
A textured pattern is engraved on a white gold base to produce a hammered effect. Two enamel pigments, washed, ground and applied in a gradient, generate a vibrant colour through successive firings.
The result is an intense, almost incandescent red fumé dial, free of indices and logos, in keeping with the brand’s minimalist philosophy.
At 6 o’clock, a one-minute flying tourbillon adds dynamism to the overall composition.
The HMC 805 automatic calibre powering the watch is equipped with a double hairspring designed and produced in-house by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG.
This pair of matched hairsprings improves accuracy and isochronism by compensating for shifts in the centre of gravity as the springs expand.
The anthracite-finished bridges and main plate contrast subtly with the red gold oscillating weight, underscoring the contemporary elegance of the movement.
Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), the movement delivers a power reserve of three days.
The new Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic, reference 6805-2100, is priced at €112,400. h-moser.com
