Nomos Glashütte has presented the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer dark, a new version of its world time watch distinguished by a black dial and an expanded Super-LumiNova treatment that brings the entire world time display to life after dark.
Designed for travel across time zones, the watch combines local time on the main dial with a 24-hour display at 3 o’clock and a world time indication covering 24 cities.
The new luminous treatment extends beyond the hands and hour markers: for the first time on the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer, the city ring and home-time indicator are also filled with blue Super-LumiNova.
This creates a continuous luminous representation of the world time display in low-light conditions while keeping the individual time zones legible.
The watch is housed in a 40 mm stainless steel case measuring 9.9 mm in height.
A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial.
The screw-down crown contributes to the water resistance of 10 ATM, making the watch suitable for swimming.
A red warning ring on the crown provides a visual indication when the crown has not been fully secured.
The deep black dial provides a dark background for the off-white typography and luminous elements.
The main dial displays local hours and minutes, while the world time mechanism is arranged around the periphery.
A 24-hour home-time display at 3 o’clock complements the city ring and day-and-night indication. Rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are fitted with off-white Super-LumiNova inserts, matching the luminous hour numerals and indexes.
The world time function can be adjusted using the dedicated pusher, which advances the city display with each click.
This allows the wearer to select the relevant time zone without altering the main time display, while the day-and-night indication provides an immediate reference to whether it is daytime or nighttime in the selected cities.
Powering the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer dark is the automatic Nomos Calibre DUW 3202, developed and produced in-house in Glashütte.
Measuring 31 mm in diameter and 4.8 mm in height, the movement combines automatic winding with an integrated world time mechanism, 24-hour and day-and-night displays, and Nomos’ proprietary swing system with a blue balance spring. It operates with a power reserve of up to 42 hours.
The Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer dark is available in two references.
In Ref. 793, the movement can be viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback, where it is finished with characteristic Nomos decoration, including Glashütte ribbing, perlage and temperature-blued screws. The bidirectional rotor is decorated with a gold globe, providing a visual reference to the watch’s world time function.
Ref. 793.SB instead uses a solid caseback, allowing the owner to personalise it with an engraving of up to 88 characters. Nomos provides this personalisation free of charge.
Both references are fitted with the Club Sport stainless steel bracelet, equipped with quick-change spring bars and 20 mm lugs.
The bracelet is integrated into the sporty case design and complements the relatively compact 9.9 mm overall height of the watch.
The watch can also be paired with a leather or textile strap.
