For 2026, Breguet has refreshed its Tradition collection with a series of thoughtful updates that reinforce the identity of one of the Manufacture’s most distinctive lines.
New Grand Feu enamel dials, the return of Arabic numerals on selected references, refined movement finishes and updated strap options bring a fresh character to the collection while preserving its instantly recognisable architecture, where the movement takes centre stage on the dial side.
Following the official presentation, we had the opportunity to spend some time with several of these new models during a visit to the Breguet boutique in Milan.
In particular, we photographed the Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7037 in both of its versions, together with the Tradition GMT 7067. As part of our In Pictures series, we are pleased to share a selection of live photographs that highlight the details of these remarkable timepieces.
True to the collection’s lineage, these new references integrate off-centred indications directly into the mechanical landscape, keeping the mainplate and bridges prominently exposed.
The Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7037 adopts a deliberately restrained display, combining the hours and minutes with a retrograde seconds indication at 10 o’clock.
Both versions share a 38 mm case measuring 12.7 mm in thickness, with the characteristic fluted caseband, welded lugs and water resistance to 3 bar (30 metres / 100 feet).
The platinum reference (Ref. 7037PT/N9/5V6) stands out with a striking monochromatic appearance, pairing a black Grand Feu enamel dial with a movement finished in matching black tones.
The white gold version (Ref. 7037BB/YB/5V6) offers a completely different personality, contrasting a white Grand Feu enamel dial with a movement finished in deep blue.
In both cases, the movement showcases a finely shot-blasted mainplate, satin-brushed bridges and a hand-guilloché barrel cover.
Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the self-winding Calibre 505 SR beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
The platinum oscillating weight is inspired by the “perpétuelle” winding system developed by Abraham-Louis Breguet.
The Tradition GMT 7067 (Ref. 7067PT/NM/5W6) is housed in a 40 mm platinum case with a thickness of 12.1 mm and displays a second time zone through an off-centred subdial at 8 o’clock.
A day/night indicator at 10 o’clock completes the travel-oriented display, while the local hour can be adjusted independently in one-hour increments via the crown.
Among the most eye-catching features of this reference is the new green Grand Feu enamel dial, whose gradient transitions from vivid green at the centre to black around the periphery, creating remarkable depth under changing light.
It is powered by the manually wound Calibre 507 DRF, operating at 3 Hz and offering a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
